Now, Himalaya decided to produce a product, they simply called Lip Balm. It claims to nourish and prevent drying and chapping of lips. The product contains 10g and is going to expire after 12 months of opening. It has an ingredient of Wheatgerm Oil which is enrich with Vitamin E that moisturizes your lips. It also has Carrot Seed Oil which is a natural sunscreen that protects your lips from harsh UV rays of the sun.

I honestly haven’t seen any commercials or advertisements that endorse this lip balm or any Himalaya product. I only knew about this certain product because I was planning to repurchase a Carmex Lip Balm which, of course, claims to moisturize the lips. It was a bit expensive for me since I’m only a student and I think that for its price, it’s not giving me what it claims to do. And then, I saw this Himalaya Herbals Lip Balm. Which was around Php 80 cheaper than the Carmex Lip Balm.
I am the kind of person that has a very very very dry lips and I’m not even exaggerating it. Well, I’ve tried different lip balms and I just really can’t see anything that I will continue to use because they just don’t work for me. Until I found this product. I bought it to try it and luckily it worked! The balm itself is transparent and kind of has a sweet scent. Not sure tho. It feels like an oil in the lips but all lip balms seem to have that kind of texture in the lips so it doesn’t really bother me. Now, it is not ‘lightweight’ and you can definitely feel that you have something on the lips. Aside from that, it undoubtedly moisturize my lips. It does what it claims to do. So I have no complaints.
If there is something that I would recommend them to improve is its color. I would like it to have some tints so it can bring me some life in my face too. Other than that, I would certainly recommend this Lip Balm to everyone.
